Upper Camp, Ages 8-15

The Diamond Ridge Upper Camp provides a unique and innovative program for our older campers, ages 8 through 15. Each camper selects a major, either in Athletics or Creative & Performing Arts. Three one-hour periods each day are devoted to specialty activities within the selected major. As young people mature they begin to acquire specific interests. Our Upper Camp is, thus, the perfect opportunity to further develop those interests and gain new ones! Campers are able to combine activities within a session in both Athletics and Creative & Performing Arts.

In addition to a major, each camper also selects a minor that is comprised of a 40 minute daily activity period. While a camper’s major remains the same for the entire session, his/her minor is selected on a daily basis. Some popular minors include street hockey, soccer, gaga, boating, archery, arts & crafts, cooking and jewelcraft.

Our Athletic program challenges campers in a competitive setting, while offering a high level of instruction in a given team or individual sport. Campers are grouped by age and ability. Our staff is comprised of high school and college level coaches and players. The coaches at Diamond Ridge foster a positive and goal-oriented environment for our athletic majors.
